Studio Test Shoot

We did a studio shoot for a music video to one of our classmates songs with him as the performer. We each were given roles that people would normally have on an industry film set. I took the roles of Clapper and Data Wrangler, which I learned how to do, each of them being quite simple. I know that I would have preferred to be a bigger influence as a director or cinematographer but I had to restrain myself so I was not trying to do anyone else's job. Those were the roles I were given and in the industry I might have to settle for lower brow roles as a path towards the bigger roles.

What I would do differently would be to prepare people before the shoot of what their roles were and how it would need to work rather than finding out on the day.
