P3

P3 Sheet

a) Equipment Use
- Mainly camera and tripod
- We used a light when it got dark which got some great results
- We could have used more creative equipment like a dolly or shoulder mount to get a wider variety of shot movements

b) Following the Storyboard
- We filmed as much of our storyboard ideas as possible
- In one shoot, we made sure we had filmed the storyboard shots before we did more creative improvisation

c) Safe Working Practices
- We were careful when we were filming on set
- All decisions were thought through beforehand

d) Following Processes
- We generally followed the normal order of ideas, pre-production materials, then filming
- We did our script and storyboard at the same time so that we knew they could be similar
- What I would do differently is stick more closely to a production schedule that we could all do and have backup plans for if people are not available or something goes wrong because that will make the production process more simple.
- After most shots, we played them back to see if they looked good, then we could decide whether we needed to do another take or move onto a different idea. This was often a group process but mainly the cinematographer and director would see whether they liked it.
